Sad news of the loss of Brian Carney's wife, Pauline, last night after a protracted illness. A brave gal and lovingly cared for by Brian as a devoted husband. Sweet dreams to both of you. Tim Kennedy

P.S. Brian posted a tribute to the loss of my wife on this site nearly ten years ago and I'll never forget the sentiment. A champion bloke.

Thank you Crash, Pauline would be honoured with that tribute.

This morning I'm already reflecting on her daily battle, which was constantly changing. She would just get on top of one effect and another would take over. Not just a physical battle but the mental battle as well. She was a lot tougher than I thought!

I am very sad to hear of Pauline's passing Brian. I only met her once, she was a lovely lady.

Ellen and I would like to offer our sincere condolences. Stay strong buddy.

Like Ned, I only met Pauline once, Brian at the same time Ned did, when the two of you dropped in on our 13th MOBI Intake's 40th Reunion in Forster... :love6:

She indeed seemed like a lovely lady, I know you'll miss her, but she's no longer in pain... Here's a big hug :goodman: for you, Matey, do take care of yourself...
