Sweden and Netherlands will provide 13 CB90 fast assault crafts to Ukraine in 2024 (10 Sweden and 3 Netherlands).
The CB90 is an extremely fast and agile boat capable of carrying and deploying a half platoon of amphibious infantry (18 men) fully equipped. It is equipped with twin water jets that allow it to operate in shallow coastal waters at speeds of up to 40 knots (74 km/h) and to slow down from top speed to a complete stop in 2.5 boat lengths.

Having been witness to a number of the (seems) never ending funding loss/movement of funding due to "instruction" from Canberra, this hits home.
If there is $400 million more additional funding for Ghost Bat, is this funding from outside the current Defence budget or are you robbing from other areas within Defence for it to "appear".

I can remember the level of accounting effort by our senior personnel in the Program having to rearrange the deck chairs and work out what was going to lose funding when there were "decisions" made on other platforms or projects. So much effort with no positive outcome by those senior staff. I can well understand why so many competent people suffered burn out and so many serving personnel (on platforms) were always short changed.
