....not to be confused with ponderous points - which is quite another subject!

I often ponder why the Yes campaing has been given several hundred millions of $$$ for advertising, etc., and whether the no campaig has been given an equal amount. :dontknow:

My guess is - no they haven't. :pharque:

I also ponder that now the yes campaigners have had their rallies (with more planned), will the No campaigners also have rallies?

And if they do, will they be allowed to do so without any harrassment and violence from the yes mob?

I'll bet no on both counts. :angry7: :angry7:

What really pissed me off the other day, was seeing footage of the YES23 rally in Perth, and the age of some of the kids that were wearing YES23 T shirts. Says a lot about their parents. :angry10: :angry10:

In response to your earlier post CJ, a "NO" rally in SA has had real nasty, verbal attacks, especially towards pollies and anyone trying to speak.

Albo has had to disassociate himself from that "Yes" rabble.

SEPTEMBER 20, 2023
WHO IS MARCIA LANGTON?
ED: Communism on the march!

Australia faces the most radical change to the country’s social, economic and racial fabric since Federation.

We are being asked to vote Yes or No in a referendum to alter the Constitution.

But there is scant detail with which to make an informed decision.

According to polls, the lack of information is one of the primary contributing reasons the No vote has been on the rise since the announcement of the referendum.

In place of detail, the Yes vote is opting for a ‘vibe’ using emotive diversions through pop songs and concerts, celebrity and sport endorsements and feel-good ads.

The Prime Minister is choosing his words carefully, suggesting the referendum is asking for a ‘modest’ change, when the opposite is the case.

No change to our Constitution is ‘modest’. It’s a big deal, which is why so many proposed changes to our Constitution historically fail.

A modest change would not require subverting our Constitution.

A modest change to establish a voice could be legislated by the Parliament.

The truth is, what is being asked for is an extremely radical change to the foundation of our nation.

There are several architects of the proposed Voice.

I will take a look at a few of them before the referendum date.

When Anthony Albanese is pressed for detail about this proposed amendment to the Australian Constitution, the Prime Minister’s only response has been to refer to the Calma-Langton Model as the basis for the Voice.

Ben Fordham interviewed Anthony Albanese on 2GB On 18 January 2023. Fordham asked, “will the Voice be a Voice to Parliament or a Voice to Parliament and to Government?”

Albanese replied:

“The work that was done under the former Government, by Tom Calma and Marcia Langton envisaged a parliamentary oversight committee that would have oversight over the activity of the Voice.”

When asked by Fordham whether members of the Voice would be paid, the Prime Minister answered: “I said there’s been no suggestion of that. Go and have a look at the Calma-Langton report.”

Who is ‘Langton’ of the Calma-Langton Report?

‘Langton’ is Marcia Langton, an historic radical Communist activist, a member of the National Committee of the Communist League (CL), a Trotskyist group that campaigned for the violent overthrow of the Australian government and the implementation of a totalitarian state.

Marcia Langton’s views are recognised to be extreme, and she has been the focus of an undercover ASIO operation. Langton has been described by the Trotskyist Newspaper Direct Action as ‘one of the best-known black communist activists in Australia’.

Langton then joined the Marxist Socialist Workers Party in 1977.

Her lifelong purpose has been to overthrow capitalism and to upend our Constitution.

Langton’s agenda is being aided and abetted by fellow lifelong socialist since student days, Anthony Albanese, who tells us he wants to “change the country” to “make us feel better about ourselves”. Never mind that Australians feel very good about the country as it is, without the Communist activists meddling .

Throughout her life, when her radical ideas are questioned, or outright rejected she invokes the ‘racist’ card. Her public comments are littered with accusations of racism.

Her school books were racist.

People in the shops were racist.

Her university lecturer was racist.

Her green and leftist critics are guilty of “arrogant racism”.

Social workers are “white and racist”.

Police are “racist”.

Referendum No voters engaged in “racism” and “stupidity”.

When she was young, “apartheid” Queensland was so racist that “no civil or HUMAN rights were accorded to my people” (untrue).

Schools in her youth were “horrible, racist hellholes” whose “teachers were the kind of people who still advocated killing Aboriginal people”, yet she was made house captain at Brisbane’s Aspley High by these “racists”.

Langton has accused Jacinta Nampijinpa Price of “legitimising racism” and Price and her mother, Bess, as “coloured help”.

She wished a “slow, painful death” on Mark Latham.

“You so deserve a slow, painful death and humiliating obituaries e.g. ‘Australia celebrates as white supremacist, homophobic, far right wing arsehole finally dies’,

Langton’s close associate Peter Rob from the Communist League wrote a piece about Marcia Langton in 2011:

“Langton has been thinking about the Constitutional status of Indigenous Australians for even longer than she has about the life crisis in remote communities. She wants the remaining vestiges of race power wiped from the Constitution. She has been talking for 40 years about racism in Australia. Her life pivots on this word. She grew up politically in the late ’60s and has matured but never abandoned the language and style of her youthful anger.’

Langton also hails the fraudulent Bruce Pascoe as an Aborigine (when the aborigines of the tribe from where he claims to have originated have no record of him) and has called Pascoe’s debunked, fictional Dark Emu “the most important book on Australia”.

At a keynote address to the Lowitja Institute’s third international indigenous health and wellbeing conference, Langton said:

“People who are opposing (the voice referendum) are saying we are destroying the fabric of their sacred Constitution. Yes, that’s right, that’s exactly what we’re doing,”

In 2019 Langton abused a young gay man who had defended Israel Folau after he was sacked by Rugby Australia for quoting the Bible.

Langton said, “he probably thinks he’s gay because he masturbates too much.”

When challenged on Twitter, Langton replied with more homophobic abuse,

“Gay? I don’t think so, more like Milo. Twisted.”

In October 2019, Langton said of those who have climbed Ayers Rock: “A curse will fall on all of them”, and wrote (as images showed hundreds lining up for a final Uluru clamber),

“They will remember how they defiled this sacred place until they die and history will record their contempt for Aboriginal culture.”

Langton has never disavowed her extremist Communist beliefs. Her entire life demonstrates a determined commitment to her beliefs.

She was so extreme in her Marxism that she was once the focus of an undercover ASIO operation.

One of the core beliefs of Trotskyism is that Australia doesn’t deserve to exist as a country and should be destroyed.

Langton’s fellow Trotskyist and academic, Tom Bramble, has declared that even just the sight of an Australian flag makes him want to puke.

Is it appropriate the woman who is charged with “shaping a framework towards developing options for an Indigenous voice to all levels of government” may still believe the government she has been tasked with advising should be destroyed?

You need to know this, because the current Prime Minister does not want to disclose the detail of the Voice to the ill-informed general public.

It’s not that The Prime Minister and architects to the Voice are unable to give you the detail to the voice.

They simply don’t want you to know what’s behind this Communist takeover of the country through our Constitution.

Indigenous Voice to Parliament

A Better Way – Kerry White

I am a Narrungga leader and Native Title holder. My grandfather, mother and
extended family come from the Point Pierce Mission here in SA. I also have ties
through extended family to the Utnamutna, Kaurna, Nukunu, Warlpiri and
Pitjantjatjara Aboriginal people. l served on boards and committees, both
Aboriginal and Non-Aboriginal. My area of expertise is in health and small
business, I have worked in both public and private sectors, including the Welfare
system.

I am going to share a few facts with you this evening. Some information you may
be aware of, and some information may be new to you.

Albanese claims that the Voice to parliament came about due to the Uluru
Statement from the Heart.

The push by activists for a treaty began as early as 1888, since then there are
several recorded attempts. In 1924 they began pushing for a treaty with the
Federal government. Bob Hawke in 1988 committed to a treaty by 1990, this
promise however was broken in 1991 in favor of a Reconciliation.

In 1989 ATSIC was established. Several Aboriginal Organization were set up under
ATSIC to deliver outcome-based services to Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander
people. Neither the Organizations nor ATSIC delivered the promised outcomes.
ATSIC was not interested in doing the job they were established to do. What then,
was ATSIC’s priority?

The answer to that question came in 1995 when ATSIC pushed the Keating
government for a Social Justice package including, you guessed it, Constitutional
recognition. Thankfully that didn’t happen and was never implemented.

In 2000 there was another push for a treaty and constitutional change, then in
2010 the Gillard government pushed for a constitutional change; they didn’t
succeed.

In 2017 the Uluru Statement from the Heart emerged, but who’s statement, was
it? The Uluru Statement from the Heart was orchestrated by Thomas Mayo.
Thomas Mayo by his own admission likes the Communist style regime and will be
asking for rent and repatriations to be paid by the Australian people. The end
game is power, control and the elimination of our current system of government.
In 2017 Malcolm Turnbull rejected the Indigenous Voice to Parliament. It was
stated at the time “The Referendum Council provided no guidance as to how this
new representative assembly would be elected or how the diversity of Indigenous
circumstances and experience could be fairly and democratically represented”.

Here we are in 2023 and that statement is as true today as it was back then.
When Turnbull rejected the voice to parliament he was labeled as “Mean Spirited
Bastardly”, now they just label anyone and everyone who opposes the voice to
parliament as racist.

Two years ago, news travelled through the Aboriginal grapevine that the Uluru
mob were not happy about the statement. The Pitjantjatjarra and Yankunytjatjara
are the traditional owners of the land that Tjukurpa/Uluru sits on. Numerous
elders were shocked when they learnt that their names appeared on the canvas
that they didn’t endorse. Canvas is the Aboriginal term for document.

The elders want the Australian public to know about the lie that is being sold to
them as factual. They have rejected the statement stating that its dangerous and
the canvas should be torn up.

This means that the Uluru Statement from the Heart is a fraudulent document
that is being pushed onto every Australian as representing the will of Aboriginal
people. Aboriginals in groups have taken to twitter creating short videos with a
simply message We Vote No.

There are many pitfalls in the Indigenous Voice to Parliament, one is in the name
itself. The definition of indigenous means native to a particular place or country.
Therefore, anyone born in Australia is Indigenous and can be a representative of
the voice in parliament, this serves the activists well.

The government seems unwilling to address the tick a box revolution. Why would
they, Labour abolished proof of Aboriginality back in the early 2000’s. According
to the census there are 800,000 plus Aboriginal people in Australia. The actual
number of Aboriginal people is approximately half that number.

The average lifespan of an Aboriginal person is 65 years, they have the worst
outcomes in terms of health. Diabetes, heart failure and kidney disease topping
the list. Aboriginal people for decades have endured high infant mortality rates,
so our numbers have not increased significantly over the last 100 years. Aboriginal
numbers according to the census has soared since approximately 2005 when the
government abolished proof of Aboriginality.

Consequentially this means that the tick a box movement will be able to have a
say on what happens regarding Aboriginal people without knowledge of the
complexities and diversity within the different Aboriginal mobs.

Albanese stated in one of his many media appearances in relation to the voice
that billions of dollars have been spent on Aboriginal people and nothing has
changed, this is an undisputable fact.

The question is why nothing has changed, the answer is simple, for decades
Aboriginal people have been exploited to gain millions of dollars in funding by the
Aboriginal organizations setup to provide outcomes for Aboriginal people. In the
last 3 decades a growing number of Not-for-Profit Organizations have capitalized
on the feeding frenzy for their share of the Aboriginal dollars. Health services also
get a large chunk of the pie if they show they provide services to Aboriginal
people The sad truth that Aboriginal people in rural and remote communities do
not benefit from the billions of dollars the organizations have received. Another
fact is that millions have been wrought by individuals within these organizations.
Plus, there is also the millions wasted in the endless pursuit of a treaty, the voice
and changing the constitution.

The Australian public is continually being fed mistruths to support the elites
narratives to gain access to more power and more of taxpayers’ dollars.

Back in the early 2000’s the AHAC’s (Aboriginal Health Advisory Committee’s)
were working on a draft proposal to be put forward to the Government for
Closing the Gap. We finally got it passed, but the gap between Aboriginal health
and non-Aboriginal health continues to widen. Why is this happening?

The AHAC’s were a community initiative set up to be an advisory body working in
conjunction with the Public Health Sector. AHCSA (Aboriginal Health Council of
South Australia) began convincing the AHAC chairs that they needed to go
Community Controlled. AHCSA gained control over these community-controlled
health services and the millions in funding that go with it.

By the time the realization set in that it was not how they were told that it would
be it was too late, the wheels had been set in motion. Many of the communitycontrolled
health services ended up closed in rural and remote communities. 20
years ago some Aboriginal families relocated from Alice Springs to SA because the
health services in the Territory were so bad.

You may be aware that mining companies pay millions of dollars per year to some
Aboriginal communities in the form of Royalties. These communities are still not
thriving why?

The reason lies in the way the Royalty payments are structured. Once again, the
money goes to the elites, most of whom don’t even live in the communities they
are being paid Royalty payments for.

None of the Royalty payments are being used to improve living conditions in
those communities. The millions in Royalty payments could be better utilized
improving these communities.

You may be surprised, even angry to learn that those receiving these payments
are also collecting Centrelink benefits. They are required to disclose the Royalty
payments to Centrelink, but they don’t.

The supposedly Stolen Generation is a mistruth which brought about another
Aboriginal organization called “Bringing Them Home”. Back in the early 50’s and
60’s mixed race children were being removed and placed in institutions for their
own safety. Mixed race children were not accepted by blacks or whites and were
being abused and in some cases died as a result of their injuries rural and remote
Australia.

Remote communities here in SA up near the Northern Territory Border have been
made dry zones by the elders to combat alcohol fueled violence.
Problem is that some parents and grandparents started abandoning the children
and headed to Alice Springs for the consumption of alcohol. Leaving the children
alone and neglected in the communities. Elders in some communities opted for
the cashless debit card which Albanese scrapped when he was elected.
There’s is no denying things need to change if we are to improve outcomes for
Aboriginal people in rural and remote Australia. What is clear is that we need
transparency, productivity and accountability for all the taxpayer’s money spent
by these organizations and the government. What we don’t need is more of the
same BS that for generations, has been built on untruths, half-truths, and fiction.
We the Aboriginal people of rural and remote Australia reject the tokenistic, sorry
day and welcome to country. The welcome to country was the inception of one
man, a disgraced Aboriginal actor by the name of Ernie Dingo. Aboriginal people
in rural and remote Australia, were not consulted, and we didn’t want it. All the
Sorry Day and Welcome to country achieved was to stir up racism towards us and
fueled gang violence. None of us can change the past, but together we can change
the future.

Aboriginal people in rural and remote Australia want real change and tangible
results for their communities. There is a saying “A new broom sweeps clean” it’s
time to clean house and remove the dead wood that is draining the public purse.
Aboriginal people reject the divisive voice to parliament. We are asking the good
people of Australia to stand with us as one and reject it too. Vote No to the Voice
and demand a better way for all Australians.
To quote Pauline, we are One people, One Nation, One Australia
Thank You

All factual and well-known here in FNQ, NQ, NT, northern WA and many other places around Oz. So many organisations that have little fiscal control of the government money given to them, almost no requirement to properly account for the spending of the funds, and a huge ability to scream racism when the forensic accountants attempt to find where the money went.

Then, there is the expected requrement for actual aboriginals to do their part in all of this, their own duty of care to themselves. Big noises are constantly made about the aggregate health of the whole of the aboriginal people, yet nobody mentions the volumes of alcohol, drugs, and fried food consumed by same on a daily basis, yet up here we see no change whatsoever and the booze shops rake in millions monthly, as do KFC, Mcdonalds and all the other fast food mobs just from the aboriginal clientele. No mention in the media or by any politicians.

As always, it's a subject and situation that nobody wants to acknowledge that it exists, let alone address.

Purely because anyone that does is labelled a racist. And then the lawyers get involved..... :snap:
