Just getting ready for the Dawn Service at Creswell, then back to our place for breakfast with Shep and Polly. After that we are all off to Husky for the march and lunch at the RSL.
A big day to catch up with mates and reflect on the guys that made the ultimate sacrifice.
This is the first Anzac day without our old mate Nev Hoskins.

Toots played Last Post at the Richmond Dawn Service, onto the Windsor Dawn service to join the band there, breakfast at the RSL then we went into Sydney as supporting band for the march. Two circuits then home.....

Thank you but cannot help but notice the decreasing number marching (those the bands are supporting). Whilst walking back for the second circuit a group of those marching for Turkey asked if we could be their band for marching (not our decision, we are slotted in by the parade marshalls). Not sure if war songs, The Saints, Long Way to Tipperary, etc would be the ones that they would want to march to (don't mention the war........). Mind you, I noted that the Corrective Services Band were playing the Luftwaffe March at one point.

Due to my instabilty due to my stroke I was unable to attend either the dawn service or the march in melboure. I hope I can be forgiven.
