"Laurie was a Shipwright Officer, service No. R35205.

A tad bit old for a MOBI, his last sea posting was HMAS
Stalwart
in the early '70s, then to DFM at Navy Office.

Laurie's wife also worked at Navy Office."

going back about 40 years .jack markam was big E at the same time on stalwart [71-72] trip to the far east included we will say no more about that. both the above lived on board mon-fri. so many a pipe made duty chippie wardroom/cmdr E,s cabin at around 2000 to discuss the next days routine,ha ha. also many interesting runs to the backward swimmers the original one at the loo] TIMES THAT WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. REST IN PEACE LAURIE.

There is a CAPT Cameron McCracken that is one of the Directors within Workforce Planning at Brindabella Park in Canberra.
