Rod was a top bloke Ken and often stayed with Shep as our approved address was with his folks at Corimal. Rod also had a brand new Manaro that we used to cruise the Main Street in Wollongong n Saturday nights. You would get arrested real fast for half the shit we used to get up to in those wild days. RIP Rodney Reginald Rodda taken too soon. Condolences to his family

Was talking to fellow 18th intake, chippy John Williams today and apparently Rodney hadn't been well for a few years. According to John he had respiratory problems as well as problems with his heart. Apparently watched the AFL GF went to bed Saturday night, woke up coughing and passed Sunday morning.

RIP Rodney

Very sad to hear of the passing of Rod Rodda, I knew him from Nirimba & I'm sure he lived across the road from us at Greystanes next door to Merv Inall. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
RIP Rod.

I was fortunate to be able to reschedule a few things and managed to get to Rod Rodda's farewell this afternoon.

There was quite a good roll up which included other than his family, ex service personnel from both the navy and army and many members of automobile clubs, both car and 4WD.

There were many stories told, many with humour, but all with affection for Rod and how he lived his life for his family and for what he achieved. The Box Hill RSL completed the RSL component of the service which was well received.

I passed on our condolences to the family through his wife (Lynne) and brother (Tony) which were well received.

Vale Rod, RIP. May you have fair winds and following seas on your journey.

I feel sorry that I was unable to attend after saying that I would. I had to go and help my mum in the care facility at rather short notice. I am glad that we were represented and that he was given a great send off. RIP Rod.
