Smiley, what are you trying to say.

Jock reserved that job for me, in his own words, because I was the best dressed MOBI he had seen in years.

You know Mick, that smacks exactly of Jock's wit.

As well as being a talented chippy, Jock was a very good sportsman.
He represented many ships in cricket teams.

Jock also ran with the Olympic flame in country Victoria on its journey to Melbourne in 1956 just 2 months before arriving at Nirimba.

Exactly CJ, he actually made me feel good about the job, for a nanosecond. :omg1:

Hi Mobi Brothers
It is with great sadness that I have to inform you all of the passing of Jock Schofield this morning in hospital at Inverell.
I must thank all the guys who have contacted Jock in the last month.
I travelled up to Inverell with Joe Manton to see him and he mentioned how happy he was to have been in contact
with so many Nirimba friends.
The Mobi fraternity has shown again how strong our friendship continues to be.
The funeral will be held at Inverell crematorium at 1400 Thursday 25th Janurary.
Regards
Tom Shaw
