Well it looks as if the you Guys had a good " Run" even if some of the " Original Desperados " could not make it. I believe the decorum would have been greatly improved by having a lovely female present and possibly a delinquent " Red Ned " absent.
On a serious point......These get togethers are unreal ! ! ! !
It started on the GP site and has gone from there......... I recall fronting up for the first one knowing no one from my time in the Navy and meeting these guys who all had similar backgrounds and within a short time we were all mates. It reminded me of times when, as a Phot, I was drafted on to Brisbane and other Ships for short stints and within hours I was on a " Run Ashore" with my new messmates........
Rick, Ned, Paul, Burgo and a number of others, we have to thank for getting us together on these occasions, and althought there may not be the same " steppers " every time, all those who have experience a " Sydney Run" are with you, in thought or evny.
I must say that you " Ex-Nirmba Guys " need, real Sailors, WRANS and educated Civillians to put some class into your acts ! ! !
