I thought this typical MOBI to MOBI exchange was worthy of a wider audience...

:evil3: Hi Shang,

I was wondering how Bob's funeral went. Were there many ex MOBI's there? Did anyone come across from the East?

I wish I could have made it. I hope Paulette is coping OK.

Cheers, Ned.

:evil3: Hi Ned,

Thanks for the note mate.

Bobs funeral went well and with typical Dunlop style half of the crowd went to the wrong part of the Bloody Cemetery. #-o

Half of the Pall bearers (including yours truly and Bobs brother Andy) finished up in the Muslim section. Yes, you heard it The Muslim Section. :burkab: :thblack:

By the time we realised we had made a blunder the burial ceremony was underway but as Paulette says Bob would not have had it any other way. :oopsy:

It was a nice ceremony if there is such a thing and there were people from many walks of life to pay their respects to Bob.

It was good to see Terry, Jude and Bruce again and Ron Ginbey, John Hendry, Bob Mummery, Viv Mcleod, Dave House were some of the old faces. :3some:
As Bob would have liked it, the beers afterwards at his favourite bar were full of good humour and pisser-taking. :drink 42:

We could not decide whose fault the mix up was at the cemetery so we blamed Terry Gunton and Bruce Chalmers because they are not here to defend themselves. :lol1:

It has indeed been a sad time for all and Paulette has shown that the Power of love is still alive despite all the negativity, bitterness , intolerance and down right hatred around today.

We are catching up with Paulette and as far as I can ascertain she is coping OK.

Life can be shorter than you think and this has been brought home to us in seven short months.

I can't help but smile when ever I think of the times we had with Bob and if that is part of his legacy I think he would be happy.

Hope you are all well and happy.

Shang :catapult: and Marlene...........
