Listed in the "Last Post" in the lastest issue of Reveille is W.R. Joseph R43305.

It appears that he was of the 21st Intake, July 66 and was an SAW.

Fair seas and smooth sailing.

I received the following sad e-mail from our fellow 13th MOBI Intake Chippy, CMDR Stan Sheldon. As we all know, his lovely wife Lyn has been fighting against a very aggressive form of cancer.

Rest in peace Lyn.

All,

My Darling Lyn passed away in my arms at 5.55pm yesterday. She has gone to God to live in peace. She has been relieved of the pain associated with cancer.

Lyn has passed away 6 weeks after presenting with her first symptoms of what turned out to be a very rare aggressive cancer.

We had been home 2 weeks from a very arduous camping trip in eastern Arnhem Land. We have undertaken a major adventure camping trip for the last 12 years. Lyn said that the Arnhem land trip was our best trip ever Lyn had shown some minor signs of unwellness during the trip. She walked into hospital being very fit. By the end of the first week she was given 24 - 48 hours to live. She made a small bounce back but then detioriated slowly until yesterday. I lived and slept in her room for the last 4 weeks. I was with her every time she was awake.

Please pray for Lyn.

Ned or Rick - could you please place the contents of this mail on the MOBI web site for widest distribution.
