Vale - Chief Naval Shipwright Rodney Neale (Buka) Boxall - R51889 I did not know Buka although I had heard of him and I understand that he was a well regarded man. Please, can anyone assist Pom Corran (pcorran1@gmail.com) with a contact point for Buka’s family. Condolences to Buka’s family and friends Bob Mummery Hi Bob, I know that Buka was not a MOBI but he was a legendary Chief Chippy with a lot of MOBI Chippy mates, including me. He passed away here in Brisbane, but I can't make his funeral and I was wondering if anyone on your list has his family address, so that I may send my condolences? I thought he lived in North Queensland, but obviously not. Could you put a general request out please Bob? Thanks mate, Pom Corran |

A very sad day today. Buka was much older than most of us. I served with him several times and he has been a member of Skilled Hands for a long time. We had many good times together, an original gentleman. Fair winds and smooth seas old mate. |
