In this issue of Reveille, there are a few guys with R prefixes to their o/n. who have passed on.
I don't know them but I guess a few of us on this site will.
R42106 Blatch
R42107 Booth

Eeerie....numbers in sequence.

Whilst I can't recall our paths ever having crossed, W.D. Blatch and C.S. Booth
were both members of the 3rd MOBI Intake of July 1957... May they R.I.P.

W. D. Blatch - R42106 - Jul 57 Intake
C. S. Booth - R42107 CERA - Jul 57 Intake
R. H. Walton - R42395 - Jan 60 Intake

Rest your oars fellas.

I do remember R.H. Walton, he was a Fifth Term Apprentice when I joined in July '62...

If any of our Members were associated with either of these pioneer MOBIs and
would care to share their thoughts with us, please feel free to post below... :type:

I am sure I served with Col Booth at Bonehead College during one of my postings. From memory he was an instructor in the ME School, possibly late 70's.

Was an affable bloke with good sense of humour (haven't all MOBI's).

Rest your Oars and smooth seas Col.

I seem to recall serving with a "Wally" Blatch, a "greenie" I think.
