He was a Vietnam Veteran and did two trips in Sydney during 69 & 70. As well as a "Gun Line" tour in Brisbane during 71.

Ross Rosco Gibb R104430 CPOMTP4 21/08/52 to 22/05/15 died Cairns of renal failure (suddenly). He will be sadly missed, a character who would not harm a fly and always ready to teach others. Steveb |

Served with Ross on Hobart mid 70's - he ran the book onboard and was a great poker player. Spent many a late night around the same table - Roscoe didn't lose too often. A good guy. Ran across him many times post-RAN in Rockingham WA and later on caravan trails even in Alice Springs. We also caught up here in Cairns. Am sorry I didn't know he passed until I saw this post. Too young - Roscoe. Fair winds. |
