Letting you know that Mick Bourke passed away yesterday. I spoke briefly to Delia this morning and she said she will let me know funeral arrangements.

Following Mick's serious "Turn" earlier this year, Delia first indicated that he might not pull through. As treatment continued, there were some Hi positive signs that his recovery was heading in the right direct.

But it appears, Mick suffered another massive seizure, from which he did not recover.

Mick's naval career started as a JR before becoming a MOBI (22nd Intake). He saw active service as an SAP on 2 x Escort Trips to Vietnam aboard HMAS Swan in 1971.

Our condolences to Delia and family, and our thoughts go out to you on your sad loss.

I have been advised that Mick was cremated at a very private ceremony.

There is an invitation, for any family and friends/mates, to celebrate Mick's life at a gathering to be held next Thursday, 13th July at 11.00am.
