Paddy has left us!
Sad news for many. Bob was one year ahead of me at HMAS NIRIMBA. Later we spent a couple of years together in HMAS SUPPLY and, still later, he was DMEO of HMAS BRISBANE whilst I was DMEO of HMAS HOBART.
A great guy who will be sadly missed.

I spoke to Galena yesterday morning and tried Bobs mobile as he was in hospital, so this comes as a shock. I have been talking to Bob to ensure he was able to manage during our next reunion and he was very positive about joining in for part of it.
So sad and such a shame that a good guy has been taken from us.
