Dear Fellow MOBI’s and Ladies,
I was advised approximately one hour ago by Bob’s wife, Betty, that Bob had died yesterday (Saturday 21st) in Wollongong Hospital from medical complications. As a fellow Greenie I knew Bob and his wife very well. They would visit Helen and I here in Brisbane every few months, not withstanding COVID. They were regulars at our term re-unions and Bob was always a larger than life figure.
Details of funeral arrangements will be forwarded when available, and I have asked Phil Parr to represent myself at his funeral. If any other members of our term are available please attend and take Helen and my warmest wishes to Betty and family. Bob’s son died in an accident approx. one year ago so Betty will welcome our term’s support where possible.
Warmest Regards
Warren Baker
