Dear All,

It is with a sad heart that I pass on the sad news of John Lewis’s passing following a prolonged illness.

John and I were Sea Cadets in TS CRESWELL, now TS PERTH, before joining the RAN as MOBIs. John (Jul 59 Intake) was the term ahead of me. Later we served in the carrier HMAS MELBOURNE together and, even later, as committee members of the Naval Cadets Association here in Western Australia.

John will be well remembered by many.

It is with a sad heart that I report the death of John Lewis. He passed away last week and his funeral will be held at the Seasons Chapel Argong Chase Cockburn Central at 2pm on Wednesday August 17.
