Dear Bob,

I’m Mike’s eldest daughter, Tracy.

I have sad news that Dad died very suddenly on Wednesday 03MAY23. He was at home, with mum and their dogs, in his comfy chair. Mum said he was not distressed and he got his wish to die at home.

We are equally devastated and relieved that dad has been released from the tightening grip of dementia. He left us notes to ensure you were one of the people notified and asked if you could help advise your mutual Navy colleagues.
