so sad to learn that Dave has passed away and so suddenly... 
My thoughts go out to Denyse and family at this impossibly difficult time... Dave was one of our backbone crew on the restored MOBI Yacht 'Nirimba', an avid, regular participant over the 20 year life of our Annual RAN Skilled Hands Sydney Rocks Xmas Pub Crawl Smokeys, and someone
I considered both a friend and confidant...
