This listing was found in Last Post section of the latest issue of the Vietnam Veterans Newsletter. I recall don't seeing any listings for John's passing on DVA, NAA, RSL or other documents, considering he passed away back in June.
According to his service records and DVA Nominal Roll, John joined HMAS Nirimba on the 6th Jan 1958.
I never crossed paths with John, but my condolences go to his family and friends.
