Our ranks are thinning, see Lea Garner's email below. Rocky (or "Rocky from Rockhampton" as I have heard him say) was a member of the Term ahead of me at NIRIMBA. A hard Rugby player, a good tradesman and well liked by all. Apart from our MOBI days, we met up now and again socially and when working around the Fleet, and we were always pleased to see one another.

Sincere condolences to Lea and the family from the MOBI brotherhood.

Rocky was still at HMAS Nirimba when I joined, and whilst as a 'sprog' I had little to do with graduating apprentices 3 years my senior. I remember him as a likeable bloke...

Always sad to lose another RANATE 'Pioneer', rest on your oars, Rocky, your journey's done... R.I.P.
