Whilst i did not know Ron all that well, I managed to do a small amount of work with him when he was with the ANZAC SPO. He always came across as a quiet, professional individual with a willingness to assist. He will be missed by many. Sincere condolences to his family and friends. Bob Mummery Hi Bob, I guess you would know Ron Abrahams – ex-CPO ‘P’ rate. In the late 90’s he was the FIMA (West) Regulator before paying off and working in the Anzac SPO. I am not sure if you are aware, but just in case … Last Wednesday (26th) I was informed that Ron had passed away that morning. He had been fighting cancer on and off for the last 12 years. Ron leaves behind his wife Allie and two sons Darryl & Paul. Still no info yet on his funeral but I am expecting to hear in the next day or two. I will pass it on. Worked with Ron at the SPO here in the west. A good guy and will be missed. Vale Ron. |
