After the completion of his 1st Term (Basic Fitting) Kerry became a Boilermaker Welder Apprentice (attached to the Naval Shipwright Trade).
During his time at HMAS Nirimba Kerry excelled in sport within the mid week East Australian Area ships and establishment competition of Waterpolo.

Kerry had left the outfit before I joined, but it is still sad to lose another MOBI from those early years.

Condolences to Kerry's family and friends.

RIP Kerry

Thanks for the pic Rick, I knew Spider Webb from Creswell in the early days, we had some great times with him and Judy.
I see John Buttle fairly regularly as he lives at Hyams Beach, about 15 minutes drive from me. We also catch up on ANZAC Day.
I never ran across the other guys
Kerry reached 83 which is a pretty good innings, but we would all like to live longer. RIP Kerry.
