I recieved an e-mail from Dave 'Charlie' Charlton, 14th MOBI Intake, who spotted the name 'R. H. White' in the 'no longer with us' column uder RAN personel Nov-Dec edition of Reveille...

Beyond that Charlie couldn't shed any light...

I estimate that he would be in the 4th MOBI Intake, and Ned confirmed that according to 'Skilled Hands at Sea' there was a 'R. R. White' in that Intake, so given the typos that were rife in the early edition of the book, we figure that we've got the right one...

So VALE R. White, rest your oars... 'cos as we know ALL MOBIs go to Heaven...!

RUGBY FRATERNITY WILL REMEMBER "KNOCKER" AS A VERY GOOD FORWARD,HE AND I CLASHED HEADS MANY TIMES IN SCRUMS IN DEMPSTER CUP MATCHES.NO DOUBT WE WILL PLAY AGAIN TOGETHER BECAUSE WE ALL KNOW RUGBY IS THE GAME THEY PLAY IN HEAVEN.
