Just ordered my HMAS Brisbane polo shirts from Peter Maher, who informs me he’s modified the DDG41 logo that I
designed for him for HMAS Hobart… This from Peter… :evil3:

BTW, I amended the BRISBANE shirt logo to one for HOBART – DDG39 – click on the “Order HOBART Polo Shirt” button
on the home page of the greenies website to see it :type:

Were you onboard when the Jindavik (??? on the spelling) got shot down just off JB.

Graham Stubbington was the skipper at the time.

Then they shot up one of the remote controlled shark cats, just as impressive. We then pulled along side and the dibbies shot it up to make it sink. Saved us from retrieving it.

Brisbane.......what a ship......I have to love her as she was my first sea draft.

Not on board then, but was on board when we shot down Jindavik 'Adrian Cummins', back in the days when we still had the old 118 analogue computers for Tartar. Unfortunately the Jindy retaliated and as we were rocking about picking up the wing cameras, the computer doors (which were bloody heavy, had to be taken off for the shoot so we could mark the dials at Bird Away, and unfortunately not tied down :oops:

) fell onto the good old fluke meter and smashed it up.... #-o

Pretty fair trade though..... :thumbright:

And you are right, an awesome ship.....my first draft also...and second.... :heart:
