What can I say!
The do-gooders keep pushing that "users" are victims and need help. No, they use the help but continue. They are not victims, the vast majority choose to become a "user". The real victims are their families.
The amount of time, energy and funding, spent on these "users" is mind blowing with very little progress. A saying from the past should have been deployed years ago. "Sometimes you need to be cruel to be kind", but I think we are past the point of no return now!
It's gunna get worse folks!

I know that this is a different cause and effect (apart from the user willing to take any form of drug without due regard for its makeup). Beginning to wonder whether this is part of a bigger attempt (by third party planning) to further undermine the US:
A little while ago, on a thread relating to drug testing at music festivals, I offered the comment that all those attending should sign a stat dec stating that they are responsible for their own actions and, if one of those actions is taking illegal or non prescribed drugs, then the potential outcome will be their death and it would be self inflicted (their fault). With that, I suggested that the police presence should be removed (as they have more important things to do) and that the music festival planners should supply medical and security resources. In effect, placing the responsibility back on the individual. The very core of those who believe it should be the Government requirement to test drugs for illegal use and not place blame on individuals for their decision to take illegal drugs came back at my comments with a great deal of vitriol and fairly baseless threats but I can understand now how violence can escalate...........
