I happened to tune in to the last 20 minutes of the Warriors/Bulldogs game yesterday arvo whilst channel-surfing. (Rain has interrupted my rear fence repairs).

Thought as the scores were tied it might be an interesting bit to watch. And it cerainly was!!! :omg1:

Both teams were just belting each other up & down the field and arrived at the final whistle with the scores still tied and they were absolutely shickered. :pale:

Then another 5 minutes each way and the Bulldogs finally got a field goal to win. Tough game, and great to watch. :ok:

....for a change! :grin:

Well, I didn't see the first 20 minutes, but what I did see, would have to be the toughest game I've seen in ages. Both teams were very committed and stuck to their loyalties and did their best.

The only downside for me was during the presentation ceremony. When DCE went to speak on behalf of Queensland, the crowd booed!

To me that was bloody rude. It was a great game and both teams played their hearts out and both teams deserved cheers. During the game, it's okay to boo at ref decisions, foul play, etc. But after the game, the teams should deserve some respect for their efforts.
