Twas nothing, I caught him at a bad moment and his guard was down.

Next time anyone sees Dimples ask him about doing a 5 hour ride to Wagga. On arrival at our digs for the night, Ron steps off his bike and opens his saddle bag only to find had left his gear back home on the kitchen table.

Ron's good value, he makes the rest of us drunken wrecks of life look good.

Shall do Lou, as I am likely to see him before anyone else. In fact, I see him every month as I am now the Secretary on the Committee for the Nirimba 50th Reunion in 2006.

He ain't that bad ... :goodman:

Cheers,

Butch, I knew you rode a decent bike. After all, it was a requirement of the Vic Chapter, wasn't it.

I retired from the club as well, due to ill-health brought on by a rather spectacular bingle (if I do say so myself...).

Do you still keep in contact with Skunk & Sumo?

And I agree, Dimples is good value. As long as he's gagged.

Cheers

CJ

Where in the hell do you go getting in touch with Ringling Bros. Tent makers to make a gag that big.

Dimples house is a good example of why you should never leave a stoker (Officer) in charge of the Lay- a- parts store.

Every day when Dimps gets up the house stands to attention.

He hasn't painted the house Ship Side Grey again, has he?

When you next talk to him, ask him if he still stores a 44-gallon drum of petrol at home, just in case there's another fuel strike.

Gaffer tape should work instead of the canvas, just wait until he's eating to apply.

Cheers

CJ

Dimples rides a motorcycle????????

Oh come on!

I used to ride them also, and admittedly the last one (Yamaha 750 shaft drive) was for fairly sedate touring, but I sold it because it had no sense of balance and used to fall over at the traffic lights after a few beers. :drinkers: :drinkers: :drinkers: Even if Dimples is only consuming one tenth of his Navy intake, he'd still have no chance of remaining upright at the lights. #-o #-o

Are you sure he's not riding a trike? :finga:

Dimples does ride a Motorcycle and until just recently I thought it had big saddle bags. Nope it didn't have saddle bags it was his arse cheeks hanging either side of the bike . #-o #-o #-o

Dimples and I have manager to be ask to leave many fine establishment over the last few years. HARMAN's wardroom for one. We were having too much fun or something along those lines.

Dimples and I were in the same intake at Cerberus (Rankin July 1964).
At that time he was as thin as rake and about 5' 5" with a baby face and "dimples". He went on to be a Stoker and I a Birdie. I did not see much of him after that, but read in nearly every issue of Navy News about his sporting achivements ! ! :supz: :supz: :supz: :supz:
It wasn't till this year, at the Skilled Hands Canberra Smokie :occasion9: :occasion7: :partyman: :occasion5: :finga: that I saw him again after nearly 40 years. He had changed in size but not in nature. Still a gentlemen who enjoys an occasional "cool drink" if it is forced upon him. :-k :-k :-k :-k :-k :-k :-k
A bit like myself I suppose :vom: :vom: :vom:

So, judging by the past several posts on Dimples, we can safely assume he is a Gay, overweight, alcoholic, gatling gummed, grumpy biker.

Sorry, forgot the aging bit..

He's an Old, gay, overweight, alcoholic, gatling gummed, grumpy biker.

That about wrap it up?

Cheers
