I'm wondering when he's going to have a 'medical episode' on camera. In fact I'm amazed he's lasted this long, his medical team must be huge.

Regardless of who you consider, hasn't anyone seen that the ad could be applicable for many countries on the Western side of the divide?

Isn't it absolutely amazing that the ALP has suddenly discovered that gas will be a part of our power generation requirements past 2050? :snap: :snap:

....and as a result the greens are having a conniption!     :shithot:

In effect: reality has now proved itself and can no longer be ignored.

And here in the ACT , the Labor mob and their mates the Greens banned any new gas connections for new houses from this year. I think they also wanted businesses to convert to electricity by a certain year.
The sooner this mob down here get the boot, the better. Trouble is the other mob are dropkicks as well, so we can't win . :faaaarrk:

Remember Bowen is a shortarse, he was probably standing directly behind Elmo.

Elmo does not have to offer nuclear as part of the mix, he just has to cancel the legislation that prohibits nuclear being productively discussed.

I don't usually follow Mark Knight as cartoonist but I think this is spot on!

I see that the prohibitive cost of nuclear would see the cost of $8.9 billion for one power station. Meanwhile, Florence, one of the tunnel boring machines for Snowy Hydro 2 has become stuck (yet again). Currently costed at $12 billion but at least one "expert" has suggested that the final cost would be around $15 billion with a hidden oncost of another $10 billion for the 1,000km of new transmission lines to Sydney and Melbourne.

Snowy 2.0 is simply a very inefficient water battery, no more or less renewable than any other battery. It doesn't produce renewable energy, as does a conventional hydro power station.

Is nuclear the better option? Remove the legislation and let the market decide.
