Plenty of rain, flooding and lots of trees down, but so far no major dramas as far as I am aware. No sunny JB at the moment I'm afraid.

Well, Albo's trying to emulate Gough with his trip to China.

There are three main differences between them.

1. Gough was a very great orator that most would listen to.

2. Gough was very clear in his intentions.

and

3. Gough had a backbone. :yea:

My wife nearly threw up when she seen him wearing a Hawthorn polo shirt, and she is Hawthorn through and through. Why would he do that on an overseas visit to China.
What a F***wit.

I fully endorse your last sentence Bruce and wondered why Xi Jinping wasn't wearing a Poort Pear jumper

On my first trip up-top, I bought a combo record player/radio unit. Plus my first albums. Previously, I only bought singles and played them at a neighbour's house.

My first two albums were, The Best of Andy Williams and Paranoid by Black Sabbath.

To this day, I still have a folder with my favourite Black Sabbath tracks, on USB, to play in my car.

RIP Ozzy, you were a legend. :supz:

Was out driving yesterday and, in the distance, saw a RAAF Spartan aircraft with rear ramp open and appeared to be trailing something. First thing that came to mind was an issue with a training drop on the area called "Drop Zone" (where the RAAF train at dropping loads out of aircraft). Considered that it be awkward from them to return to the base with that hanging out then thought how much it looked like the scene from CONAIR when the aircraft ends up trailing a sports car.
The aircraft turned and I lost sight of it. When I got home I recounted what I had seen to "Toots". Thought nothin more of it until we watched the news and the "trailing load" was, in fact, a F35 fighter aircraft being filmed as part of the advertising for the upcoming Richmond Air Show, and yes, it was quite close to the back of the Spartan ramp.....
