Have a great trip, you two... ...I believe the Donald has spared no expense preparing a lavish welcome for his most devoted fan from 'Down Under'... .......................................................... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cj1wOvbzYeE 'The Don' welcomes 'Teflon Ned'... No, wait... That was for 'Titanium Scott'...! ...And just remember, Neddley, when you and Ellen get to Canada, Justin Trudeau is the clown with his face painted black... |

Something else to put on your Canuk itinery, Ned and Ellen, a visit to the Dildo processing plant... It's in Newfoundland, (Canada's equivalent of Tasmania,) and its actually the boutique brewery, Dildo Brewing Co., (and Museum,) Dildo Cove, Dildo, Newfoundland, Canada... Locals campaigned long and hard (!) to prevent a move to rename Dildo, as these clips attests... ................. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4i62RnsIQHM Dildo... ...the name stays...! ................. "Well, 'D' stands for our Dignity, our name will never change, and ................... 'I' stands for the Innocent child who should never feel ashamed, ........................... 'L' stands for Liberty, and 'D' for Days of old, ................. While 'O' spells out that loving word that we all call 'Dildo'..." ............. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_cont ... E9bfNlS1EY History This 'mud map' will help you find the Dildo Brewing Co., (and Museum,) Dildo Cove, Dildo, Newfoundland, Canada. Bring us back a stubby Dildo... Neddley, (batteries not required...!) |

Planning to spend a couple of weeks in Port Douglas next month to laze around the resort, drink lots of piss and maybe walk around a bit. Getting a limo from the airport and not hiring a car.....less chance of being dragged away from the bar that way.... Will probably do a few tours, depending how the wet season treats us. Any views from you intrepid travellers on the best places to see around there / tours to take / bars to relax in? And no, I'm not going swimming with the wildlife in the oggin... |

Mate, the whole area is green as at the moment due to a fair bit of rain. Rhonda will love the weekend markets in the park, lots of home-made stuff there along with backpackers. The usual GBR tours are available and leave from PD. You could always get up to Cooktown - about 3 hours away on a paved road but it may not be what you expect (usually much drier than PD and known by locals as 'The largest unfenced asylum in the world.' Cairns of course, plenty of buses/coaches doing the round trip. And of course the Atherton Tablelands - Mareeba to the north is dry and dusty and the green bit doesn't start until near Atherton. A few antique shops in the area that are well-stocked. Enjoy the bars.... |
