=; You have a clean out and what do you find, lots of old photos. :evil3: While I still have a few B&W pics to work through, these three have a common theme of the brand new blocks that we occupied in late '70's
if I have that right. Passé now but the big news back then and worthy of two valuable snaps. :happy:

I have no idea who took the colour pic (a Polaroid?) :happy3: of me, :3some: Brian Manning and Greg Carroll, :down: hope I got that right. Rick has cleaned the digital copies up, re-sized them and will link them up.

When the intake that Brian and were in moved into the blocks the landscaping wasn’t even finished. The stoker Chief in charge of the block that the Chippies were living in was “the Whale Norman. We were only in the blocks for about 3 months before we passed out.

We might have had swank accommodation but only for 6 months. Still started in the Dongers and "graduated" to the 4 man cabins. Our bonus was being right next to the shower block, made the early morning winter dash a bit easier.
