The 2014 (12th) RAN-SH Sydney Rocks Xmas Pub Crawl Smokey

After much discussion, the date has been set to the 7th/8th/9th of November 2014. Tassim, tassall.

Everybody now has 11 months to organise themselves.

Friday 7th November will involve Basin Trials at the Frisco Hotel. Time starts from when the first participant gets there! :b toss:

(With a cold lemonade or two added in) :tchin:

Saturday is the Rocks Run, commencing at Jackson's on George at around 1030. Completion is somewhat late in the evening.

Sunday: TBA.

One thing above all to remember, is that these events are all (ALL) an absolute blast! :wav:

If you ain't there, you'll miss out (and how many more will you be around for.....?)

So, get off yer arse and organise!! :hi:

Did a ghost tour of the Rocks last night (related to deaths and murders in the area). End place was the Hero of Waterloo (other pubs were The Australian, The Russell, The Orient). I am hoping the SWMBO will maintain the memories to regal others on the "Smokey"...

I can remember doing the Rocks ghost tour sometime in 2004-2005 with some others after or as part of a work function. Quite enjoyed it from memory but I think I have forgotten most of it now, so I look forward to hearing the tales freshly told by SWMBO on the "run. :yea:

Bit hard really, the tour guide spoke of the excesses of drunken sailors who frequented the area - I guessed he must have been on a prior run :yess:
