I'm a good boy, Oh yes I am   I left the guys last night just as they were starting to get unruly. I had to get back to Newcastle for family commitments.
Got to Circular Key station with 30 seconds to spare for a train to Central then 15 seconds to spare for the train to Newcastle, missing the train to Wagga that Dino wanted to put me on by half a day!!!
Oh, he's a worry, that old fart.

:D :D :D

What a great day, thanks again to Rick for organising it :supz: :supz: :supz: :supz: :drinkers: :drinkers: :hic: :hic: :hic:

Thanks Guys, I've just got back from our great Harbour \:D/ Cruise after a great BBQ at RANSA with a great bunch of people... :3some:

I was so flat chat today I didn't even get any photos, which is just probably as well, because after four days of organisating and
drinking, eating and organising, lifting and lugging, eating, drinking and  smoking :smoke: my back has finally given out and so I'm
dragging myself off to bed for a long overdue rest...

I know Rhonda took a heap of photos today, so I'll wait 'til Tafmo and Rhonda get back to Adelaide then I'll post some of theirs... :thumbright:

In the meantime, if any of the attendees of any of the weekend's events have some funnny/ incriminating/ compromising/ interesting/
outrageous photos they'd like to send me on :type: roman27@tpg.com.au I'll endeavour to post the best of them for those poor folks
who (for whatever lame excuse,) didn't make it to this year's fun events...

Just one final note of thanks before I hit the sack, to all those who made the effort, from as far away as Cairns, (Seejay,) Adelaide,
(Tafmo and Rhonda,) Melbourne, (Pony and Baz,) Canberra, (Henry,) from the near and Far North Coast, (Pete and Charlie,) and
the South Coast, (Ned, Ellen, Shep, Howie,) and lastly, [-X but by no means leastly, to our 'locals' (Col, Sue, Dave, Gordon, Sandy,
Anthea, Mobes, Brian,)
your dedication, enthusiasm and appreciation is all the encouragement we need to do it all again next year...

:notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

Thanks also for everyone who chipped in and helped when I nearly lost it this morning when the RANSA #-o BBQ wouldn't light...!

By golly, that was a great two days that will remain with me for a long time! :thumbright:

Great company, great laughs (so much so that what remains of my ribs are still sore) lots of booze and just a bloody great time! :D :D :D :D

I had to laugh at the Frisco when we we saw all the young sailors in the New Generation Navy - including the one who was wearing his pants halfway down his underwear!

I just had to reminisce about the crusty old fart senior sailors we used to take the rinse out of, and then let everyone know we're now old enough to be those crusty old fart's parents!!! 033102phone_1_prv.gif 033102phone_1_prv.gif 033102phone_1_prv.gif 033102phone_1_prv.gif 033102phone_1_prv.gif 033102phone_1_prv.gif 033102phone_1_prv.gif 033102phone_1_prv.gif 033102phone_1_prv.gif 033102phone_1_prv.gif 033102phone_1_prv.gif 033102phone_1_prv.gif 033102phone_1_prv.gif

What a great weekend!

A pleasant stroll around the Rocks on the pub crawl ( didn't turn into a stagger), terrific company ( lotsa laughs, loverlie bunch of old farts) and even managed to catch the right train home.

Today was a corker!
Sun and a fine breeze that turned a bit blustery.
Got a little bit red, a little bit wet (I hope Rhonda got some good shots of the spray that was blown over us). The wind picked up to about 25-30 knots and we headed into it going down the harbour.
Boat put on a good show, didn't miss a beat and really looks good.
Would have been a tad wet going to Hobart I reckon.
All in all, lots of fun with great mates.

Note to all....

You've got to come next year, it is a realy good way to spend a weekend.
Couldn't do it every weekend though.

Rhonda and I are enjoying some of Qantas' free piss in the lounge waiting for our flight to Adelaide. Decided to get here a little early seeing the weather has turned foul here in Sydney, couldn't get an earlier flight out, so looks like I'll have to put a dent in their booze stocks..... :drinkers: :partyman: :occasion5: :partyman: :occasion5: :drinkers: :drinkers: :occasion5: :partyman: :partyman: :finga:

As many of the reunion attendees have said previously, a great weekend, plenty of piss, plenty of warries`, some old navy behaviour (particularly from Ned, who couldn't handle the sambucca........thank god I was there to take charge of him..... #-o #-o #-o [-X :butthead: )

Sorted out the potential bladder problem by switching to sambuccas early in the run.......brilliant.....didn't need a piss until the end of the run.... :supz: ......the only problem then was getting through the toilet doorway....... #-o #-o .....have come to the conclusion that there is a downside to the sambucca.....besides the black tongue.... :occasion7:

Ended up in the shit Saturday night for some reason.....no bloody sense of humour these women....   ....but with that suave, sophisticated way about me (read grovel.....), managed to get back into the good books on Sunday, in time for a fine brunch and great day on the water with the troops. Thanks once again to that fine crew of Rick, Gordo and Sandy, and our other passenger Henry........ had a great time out on the harbour. :thumbright: :thumbright:

Will send some piccies up for posting in the next day or so.
