Sorry to be a straggler - my brain cell prompted me to check the forum this morning and I'd love to attend  . My knees have recovered enough to stagger around a shortened run. Rick, if this complicates the Lord Nelson bookings at this late stage I'm quite happy to grace the nearest eatery with my prescence.

They really turn their tables over at speed  'cos she had us booked in from 11:30, tables cleared by 12:15..!!! I hastened to point out to her that  our booking was from 11:30 'til 1:00...  To cut a long story short, we finally agreed to the original time-slot, but that she'd have to relocate us outside on the footpath, which I happily agreed to, amending our CONFIRMED numbers to 15, LOCKED IN..! Sonya says that if our lot can arrive by 11:30, identify yourself, they can match you up with your PRE-ORDERED lunch, it will be in front of you by 12:00 noon as you're ordering your second drink...  You'll recall, (I believe I mentioned earlier,) that to service the 250 flush  Melbourne Cup  Punters booked in after us, The Lord Nelson had created a '$pecial Menu', no doubt 'gold plated'however we can order off their 'normal menu' as shown below...  For your convenience,  I'll maintain a list of what each of you wish to order so that I can forward it off to Sonya A.S.A.P. to ensure this goes as smoothly as possible... | As you'll observe below (and a black ‘n’ white printer-friendly version sent as well,) are our menu selections for lunch on the 7th November, all sorted and colour-coded by menu item, firstly the one-offs, then multiple items, all costed, each with a diner’s name allocated to make it easy  for their chefs  as well as the waitresses on delivery to our tables...  .....................  ........................ Yeah, yeah, I know, I've got too much free time on my hands...!!!      ...but it'll make paying easier too...
