Smiley and Viv have been in contact and all is looking good.
I have my annual medical to pass by late August and my annual Instrument Proficiency Check by the end of September. I'm not expecting any problems on either front. Its going to be a great trip.
I agree with "toots'' I need a bigger plane but my wife doesn't agree, so we'll just have to suffer the Mustang.

Excellent Neil, I've added you to our 'Attendees' List above... Along with Neil, I've also added my 'old sailing mates' Dave 'Bunny' Warren and Brian 'Charlie' Staples as confimed... I've also had a nibble on FB from the 14th MOBI Intake's Bruce 'Slops' Sloper and Wal 'Midge' Midgley... BTW, I'm making an extra effort for this year's Rocks Run myself, I've picked up a Proform 700ZLT in excellent nick locally on 'Gumtree', so if I can only survive the next three months of 'rippin' up the rubber', I should be 'trim 'n' fit' for 'pounding the pavement' in November...

The previous owners probably couldn't be bothered to put it out on the footpath for council pick-up week. I've seen hundreds of these type machines ditched/thrown out/discarded because all the owners eventually get tired of using them and they are no where near as good as "actually getting out there in the open" and running/jogging. In fact, some health sites warn against using them because the owners get dismayed/upset/dejected without any visible positive signs of better cardiovascular, stamina or strength effect after hours of use. It certainly will be absolutely no help without a balanced alcohol/food diet based on good healthy eating.....

I will almost guarantee that you will fall out of love with it within 6 months. You will start off very keen and then slowly, slowly you'll stop using it. As for the other stuff .........most definitely!! You trek to EBC and you climb Kili!!! But good luck with it ............ prove me wrong!!! (see how I just gave you some incentive to stick with it??)
