My weather down here is colder, wintryier, wetter and windier but unfortunately I can't wrench my way clear of Paradise :tear:

I think putting the run off for a month or so is a fantastic idea. I will be able to get accommodation without any problems and Ellen and I can then add a bit of couth and kulture. :glasses7: :angel12: :singing:

I would like to suggest Saturday the 9th of August, we have a free weekend and providing a decision can be reached in a week or two it will give us plenty of time to book some accommodation.

Buck will be able to make it and we may be able to rustle up Col Kelson and maybe even Dino. :drinkers: :partyman: (A scary thought I must admit, but we all need a couple of guy's, besides Buck, to rip the pisser out of)
:withstupid: :knob:

I support the move to a date next month. Battle Star 05 is currently at sea and I have no idea of the good Chief Writer's whereabouts. He was due in Darwin (town) on Friday and after that :dontknow:

Propose Saturday 9 August as an alternative - the next weekend is out - Battle of Long Tan commemoration :drinkers:  :occasion5: :sniper: at Springwood.

I'm in when it's on

DONE DEAL...! :evil3: Saturday, :3some: August :3some: 9th :3some: it is... :thumbright:

I'll be catching up with Brian 'Charlie' Staples when we take The MOBI Yacht 'Nirimba' out on Friday for the Australian Apprenticeship Alliance Harbour Cruise, so I'll let him know then...

:prayer: Mobes, you retain bragging \:D/ rights, not only for pioneering/ testing imbibing the Balmain route, :drinkers: but for being the only one who was still prepared/ keen to proceed as planned for this Friday, :thumbright: while everyone else were falling :partyman: down :fart: around you...!!! :notworthy:

Maaaaaaate,

Never knock back a chance for a :drinkers: :walk: :occasion5: \:D/

Especially with former sailormen and whenever there's a chance to take the rinse out of Neddly.

At least now there will be more than one of us taking the rinse out of 'Neddlies'!! Thought for a moment there I would be the only one...

9th August it is then.. See you there (will bring a photo of what a chippies workshop should look like - taken onboard HMS Belfast, so that our dear deluded Neddles can see for himself).

Buck

Ahhhh HMS BELFAST - a real warship, with hammocks and smokey messdecks..................

The day we went on her one of the Sir Bedevere Class was tied up nearby (promoting Navy Week and trying to boost numbers). Not many around - we got up on the vehicle deck and the Royal Marine contingent had a mobile kitchen operating - shit, stacks of bread and cakes, cakes, cakes, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
