Thanks for the salute
Do you know the names of the ships that will be there?

Yep, Chosin is the only USN ship listed. I've been told the Russians aren't coming, even though the Varyag is listed (they sold that to the Chinese about 5 years ago). Plenty of ships will be at buoys around the harbour, quite a few at Waterhen and Darling Harbour/White Bay area, plus a number at GI.

Yes, sorry Wayne, bum steer, from the list of participating warships it looks like we only warrant one US Warrie and it is indeed, USS Chosin CG-65 (shown below...)

Getting a bit.. ...so here's an update... Well, it's just over 1 week to our annual 'Rocks Run'... Time for another quick update... So, reading back over the earlier posts in this Topic, (plus a few new add-ins,) am I correct in assuming that we now have around 22 (+) starters for the 'Rocks Pub Crawl' so far..? (About 17 for lunch..?) (And don't forget Friday's 'Basin Trials' at 'The Frisco'...) (I'll be contacting the Lord Nelson to book in for lunch, so could you please confirm/ update your participation.) Col 'Pussasan' Kelson (joining mid-run, around 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM...) Col 'Pussasan' Kelson's friend Sue (joining mid-run, around 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM...) Chris 'Seejay' O'Keefe Steve 'Shep' Shepherd David Maxwell Howie 'Hendo' Henderson (joining mid-run, around 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM...) Viv McLeod (may be joined by a few others...) Ken 'Capornk' Caporn Gordon 'Gordo' Robertson and Sandy Rick 'Hippy Chippy' Pengilly Roger 'RogerF' Fidler and Pauline (joining mid-run, around 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM...) Brian 'Charlie' Staples (on holidays, but expects to be back in time...) Brian 'Stroppy Chippie' Mackenzie and Verna Mark 'Mobes' Mobley Neil Watson Tim Hamilton John Dowling (and Mrs Dowling..? For the first part of the run, then joining their cruise ship..!) Peter Hindmarsh Mick Lusham (plus one..?) Maybes... Our two 'Maybes' have since declined... Henry 'HenryS' Schubert Francisco Victoria (Spanish contractor working with Tafmo)Probably not... Bob 'Tafmo' King and Rhonda (?) (Bob has since confimed that he won't make it..) ... but with TAFMO (Then A ken Miracle Occurs) you just never know...! Still have 4 more berths for our IFR Cruise on The MOBI Yacht 'Nirimba' on Friday (returning in time for Basin Trials at 'The Frisco'...)

Due to diligent lobbying and mostly good fortune , my harbour cruise has now been rescheduled to Saturday evening, so I will be at Frisco's at a time yet to be determined, and at JOG's for breakfast.
