2013 RANSH Annual Pub Crawl
Attached is the current Schedule of events for the International Fleet Revue 2013.
Given this is a once in a lifetime event (Lets face it, who of us is going to be here for the next centenary), I was wondering if troops would consider next year, a ONE OFF change of dates for the RANSH Annual Pub Crawl.

My thoughts are along the lines of;
All the important events of the IFR commence on Thursday 3 October, and conclude with the departure of warships on Friday October 11.
I personally am getting a leave pass for the IFR, but I can't see me getting another for the RANSH run a couple of weeks later.

If anyone was coming to attend the IFR, I thought the RANSH run could then be held on Friday & Saturday 11 & 12 October.

A couple of us have already spoken to Rick about putting the yacht on the water for the Fleet Review (& whatever else; i.e. Tall Ships entry, Warships entry), and this is something which will need to be sorted.

What think one and all?
Cheers,

Given that it's a one-off event, it seems feasible. :-k

The tall ships program is being pushed heavily at the moment in the yachties' world with all sorts of organisations planning to be involved either on the water or as spectators.

Naturally, if lots of people are going to be there they'll need somewhere to stay and accommodation will be at a premium - so bookings will need to be made ASAP! :-k

Col, is it worthwhile contacting Mariner's to see what they have available?

Chris,
I'll be booking a room at the Mariners very shortly for just that reason. Depending on the results here, just determines for how long. So far from 2 to 10. If we agree then 2 to 13

From management at the Mariners Court

At present we have no bookings for this period has we have not released the dates from September on wards in 2013.
So we have plenty of rooms at present.

I have just booked my room for 2nd to 13th
Cheers.

Sounds like a good move Col. I'll be in that.

I wonder who else is in the parade?

I think we could change the "First weekend in November" routine in this case. It definitely is a one off event.
