Check out the Palisades web site, Chris.
Very expensive for just snacks and cocktails.
Not sue about the public bar, though.
Is the Palisades back on the pub list, Rick?

Sadly, I have to pull out of this year's Rocks Run. I have had gastroenteritis since Sunday, and it still hasn't let up. The word is that it is going through the Bay and Basin area, so even if I improve, it's better I don't come and give you all the shits. As to a suitable place to eat, have you considered the Captain Cook? I took a photo of their menu board last time, and their prices are a lot better than the Lord Nelson. Probably honest pub food. T-bone with veg and chips $15.00 Seafood basket with chips $13.50 Pie with mash and veg $8.00 Fish and Chips $13.00 Burgers and Steak Sandwiches $9.00 to $12.00 are some of the fare. It could be worth checking out.

Cripes ...... with you and Viv out of the running, the load to maintain a high level of discussion, an acceptable level of group control and just general high standards, falls to Pussa and me. Get well Hendo and do it quickly!!!!

Just had an email from The Frisco. The ground floor bar will not be open for another 2 weeks. They have advised that: Hi Chris, How exciting for you all, your annual get together sounds like a blast. I have mentioned to a few of your crew that we are back up and running. Beers are cold and the first floor balcony, bar & downstairs outdoor dining are in full swing. Our ground floor bar will not be open for another 2 weeks unfortunately. Although come in and check out what we currently have on offer, if it’s not to your liking I won’t be offended if you head to the Bells. The renovations look great mate, I will be surprised if the first floor isn’t to your liking. First round on me! Cheers, Adam MicolaI'll have a lookin when I get there around midday, and if it's too much of a drama, it's the Bells for me.

Hmmmmm ... that's sad, but I think we all probably had that gut feeling right from the get-go!! It seems that "progress" is beginning to affect not only our Warming Flashes but also the main run. I f I don't see you guys sitting outside at about 1400, I'll go straight to the Bells.
