Gents, just an idea at this stage, but how about moving this year's event forward to October, possibly the weekend of 19/20 or 26/27? Yes, I know the title says Xmas Rocks Run etc., but there's absolutely nothing Christmas about getting a bunch of Mobis together to guzzle as much booze as possible, so....... what say you?

I posted this back on 12 Nov 17 Pony wrote: Just booked my accommodation for next years Rocks run on Sat 3 November. Will try extra hard to also make it to the warming fllashes on the 2nd. Just need to confirm which pub it is going to be in. A few years back I changed other regular long standing family commitments so that I could attend on a regular basis, based on Ricks advice that the preferred date was the "nearest weekend to the launching of the Mobi". With the other family arrangements that are involved it will be difficult for me to re arrange.

Don't worry boys, we will bring it down to our level. Which is the level of the "old" Rocks days. I think you all agree "thems were the days"

Maybe a slight "warrie" feel - those tables do not look much unlike the dazzle camouflage schemes of WWII......
