Ok Rick where are we heading to then? I have just come back from 7 days at Coolangatta. So here are a few places you may consider then .

1. Coolangatta Hotel situated just below NORTH POINT tower.
2. Colangatte sands Hotel. the last remaining old pub still in Coolangatta. Is situated west end of Griffith St.
3. Calypso Tavern Situated east end of Griffith St. Opposite the Beachcomber resort.
4. Kirra Hotel. At Kirra beach
5. Kirra surf lifesaving club. Situated opposte the Kirra Hotel.

So Rick hope these may help. But then again ask your sister she may know a quite let your hair down place close to where you are staying. Where ever you choose, it OK . Cheers

I would like to recommend Wallaby Bob's Hotel at Mudgeeraba. Leave the motorway at exit 79 and turn left at the roundabout, the pub is 500 metres along to your right. It takes less than 20 mins from Tugun [airport].

Cheers My sister reckons the Coolangatta Hotel sounds like a winner when you take the following into account: 1. Nice cold beers 2. Eye Candy 3. Food 4. Eye Candy 5. Location 6. Eye Candy 7. Shops 8. There are plenty of nice candy girls down there, as the pub is opposite the Beach. The place also makes a very nice lunch. Ask my G/f as she enjoys the meals there.

Tafmo You didn't offend me and no offence was taken. I thought I would return a comment to the previous --------!!!!! If you blokes decide on wallaby Bob's, please tell me to be there in QLD time. It allows me to prime the motorised wheel chair to do the 5 km round trip.
