As I lay me down to sleep,

The room from spinning, I'd like to keep,
At our Christmas do, the booze was flowing,

I was planning a quiet one, all the the time knowing,

That come 11:00 tomorrow, we're off again,
To crawl all the Rocks Pubs, then home by 10:00,

'Cos on Sunday it starts all over from scratch, $\:D/$

(This weekend I won't be seeing much of my patch,)

Come Monday I'll front for our usual sales meeting,

Around Christmas the weekends sure are fleeting,

No sense in complaining, which my boss really hates,

It's just the price we must pay to catch up with our Mates...!
