I have a Samsung a 11. Tells me network is blocked and can't access data although I can still call and text both ways. Tried everything I can. Kogan chip and Telstra network. Tried Kogan, they said it was Telstra. Tried Telstra, they said it was Kogan. Kogan said maybe the chip corrupted. Bought and installed new chip. Nup. Kogan then said it's Samsung. Any phone techheads out there got any clues? I've tried a soft reset.

Try calling Samsung support, or visit one of the Samsung kiosk usually located in a shopping centre as it may just be a phone settings thing.

For those using Microsoft Outlook there has been an issue this morning with emails not displaying content. If you have this problem then a workaround until MS fix the problem is outlined below :-
Use Win-R to open the Run dialogue, paste in the line below including quotes and hit Return. It takes less than 3 minutes to run. No reboot required.
"C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\ClickToRun\officec2rclient.exe" /update user updatetoversion=16.0.13901.20462

A question for the greenies.... I have a 12V compact air horn set that I'd like to use in an upcoming waterborne event, but don't want to put a heavy 12V bttery in the waterborne craft. It draws 9 amps according to the specs. Can I hook up two of the little 6V torch batteries instead? It won't be used for very long, just a few short blasts.........

For what it is worth I would think the only problem is you are going to run out of juice fairly quickly as I think the 6v cells only have around 20 Ah of life so drawing down at 9 amps if going to drain them quicker. I don't think overheating on draw down should be as issue as increasing the 6v to 12v will be of benefit.

CJ, why not use one of those small air horns, that fans use at sporting events?

Pony, doesn't need to be operated very much, it's merely to provide a disruptive noise to disconcert other competitors maybe once or twice. And yes Rick, quite correct. I have been playing with the idea of a compressed air tank and a suitable horn but availability just isn't there. Little air horns won't cut the mustard.

I reckon a 30 min life span (as in actual usage) should be achievable Chris. Go for it.
