EVERYONE (R EVERYONE) knows the run is on the Saturday before the Melbourne Cup. Are those who are unavailable so thick they can't organise one day in the year 12 months in advance?????
Unfortunately I can and every Melbourne Cup Day I take my wife and neighbour to the pub to put some bets on and watch the race.

Our transport from Black Head doesn't arrive until about 1030. So only coffee and a chat.
