The Silverton wind farm and the large solar farm just out of town do not supply any power the the town. I was out there in September and not one of the wind turbines were turning, although it was a windy day.

Luckily my bro in law has a generator, so he connected the freezer in his shed to it and moved all their frozen goods into that.

Newsweek:

In September 2022, after more than two years of investigating Gaetz, prosecutors recommended that no charges be filed against the Florida congressman.

The Washington Post reported at the time that prosecutors had concerns about the credibility of two key witnesses and worried that they wouldn't be able to secure a conviction against Gaetz if they brought charges.

Five months later, in February 2023, the department formally closed the investigation.

He might be guilty of the alleged crime but, without a day in court, their laws determine him to be innocent unless found guilty.

Bit like the ACT "sourcing" their power requirements from the surrounding NSW wind farms. ACT spruiks that they are 100% renewable as they hold "contracts" with all those farms. Strange that, on occasions when none have blades turning, Canberra still seems to have unlimited power.

Too true, Stroppy One, hence I chose my words carefully, i.e., for Gaetz, 'sexual predator', with a well-known reputation and a penchant for younger girls, whereas for 'grab 'em on the pussy'
Trump, a 'convicted felon, convicted sex offender', who still owes E.Jean Carroll millions which she'll probably never see...
