Before the security detail guys could get to him, 3 kids who were fishing jumped in and pulled him out of the water. He was so grateful he offered the kids whatever they wanted. The first kid said, 'I want to go to Movie World in QLD' Albo said, 'No problem, I'll take you there on my special Prime Minister's airplane.' The second kid said, 'I want a new pair of Speedo 'SHARK' bathers.' Albo said, 'I'll get them for you, and even have Ian Thorpe sign them!' The third kid said, 'I want a motorized wheelchair with a built in TV and stereo headset!' The PM was a little perplexed by this and said,'But you don't look like you're handicapped.' The kid said, 'Well, I will be after my dad finds out I saved you from drowning!'

Police have announced that notorious mob gunman Bobby 'Piano Wire" Alvari has confessed that he was once hired to beat a rival mobster to death in a rice paddy with two small porcelain figurines. Lead investigators state that this may be the first known case of a nick-knack paddy whack.

A wife comes downstairs with a bag in her hand. Her husband asks what is in the bag and she responds: “It’s full of used clothing I’d like to donate.”
“Why not just throw it away? That’s much easier,” the husband suggests.
She replies: “There are poor starving people who can really use all these clothes.”
“Honey,” the husband says bravely. “I’d say that anyone who fits into your clothing is not starving.”

Hi guys, The only place outside the US I visited was Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick in Canada two years ago. I'm afraid I was going back and forth to Boston with Anne because of her back surgeries and got out of the habit of checking in.
Yes, it was surgeries not just one. The first was done with the hope that she wouldn't need hardware put in. The chances of that being successful were about 50/50 and she was warned that it was just a question of when she would need another. She was pain free for a day, then it collapsed so eight weeks of her hardly being able to move and me having to see to her every need as well as taking care of my 3 month old at the time grandson during the day kept me form doing most anything else,
All is much better now and I hope to be on here more often.
As this is the joke thread and not the sick bay one, I submit for your approval:
A little seven year old girl was usually driven to school by her grandfather. One day he had a cold so the task was taken over by her grandmother, That night the girl told her parents, "The drive with Gramma was really different today." "Oh? What made it different?" they asked. "Well," she said, "With Gramma, we didn't see a single numb nuts, blind lady, or freaking moron on the road the whole way."

Nice to hear from you Fred, and glad all is heading along the right track with Anne. Moral of your joke is obviously don't drive with young kids in the car, they observe and remember too much.
