Well, the 'usual suspects' gathered at The Frisco for Basin Trials
earlier this evening, (well actually, this afternoon for some of them,) I just
hope that SeeJay, Col, Shep, Tafmo, Sue and Rhonda don't hit it TOO hard
tonight, [-X

tomorrow's the BIG day boys and girls... :partyman:

Col also managed to find a nother couple of Ex-Nirimba types at The Frisco,
a MOBI and a Muppet, both of whom promised to join us for the Rocks Run... $\:D/$

Well what a fun day that was, $\:D/$ but until the photos come in, I'm not going to give too much away, [-(

and contributed to making it a great day to warmly remember... :notworthy:

I'd particularly like to thank those who travelled great distances to be with us which really added to our day; SeeJay from Cairns, Tafmo (and Rhonda) from Adelaide, Henry Schubert from Canberra, Shep and Howie from Nowra, Charlie from Newcastle and our newest 'ring-in' Warren 'Joe' Joseph, an Ex-MOBI from Brunei...!!! :shock:

I'd also like to thank Kara and Felicity from Melbourne, who, after learning that Col Kelson and I were both confirmed 'lesbians', immediately confessed that they were both raging 'poofters' and agreed to join Charlie and I on The MOBI Yacht ‘Nirimba’ for New Years Eve… :finga:

Quite a bit of the conversation of the day revolved around setting a fixed date each year for our Annual RAN Skilled Hands Sydney Rocks Pub Crawl Xmas Smokey, to better facilitate forward planning for things like travel and accomodation, etc., but the general consensus was that it would be pointless to set a firm date until we could all be assured that it would clash with Ned's Golf Club Presentation Night... :dontknow:

I'd also like it on the record that I had [-X

absolutely NOTHING to do with giving out :-#

to the assembled troops so they could ring him at every pub along the route to remind him of the fun he and Ellen were missing out on... :finga:

I think the last straw for poor old Neddley was when someone :-$

(who shall remain nameless,) paged him at the Golf Club, in the middle of the award presentations, to ask him where the @#$% he was...!!! :dontknow:

Ah, Neddles, you won't do that again...!!! :finga:

Well......., now that the dust has settled, the boys are all back home and the hangovers have eased, I suppose I should let everyone know how much your bloody drunken phone calls annoyed me. :angry4:

I am really pleased that mobile phones can be switched off, although every time you turn one back on 15 stupid messages await. :banghead:

Well done you dickwits, especially when you tracked me down in the middle of the golf presentation. It was quite funny really as I was on the dance floor having a little "box grind" when the message was shouted across the auditorium. :laughing8:

Oh, one other great thing about mobile phones I forgot to mention....they remember the number that rings you, which enables you to ring back, the person that rang you. I reckon the next time I'm on the booze after midnight I might return a few calls. :wav:

I just think it was very inconsiderate of those people who were jumping to conclusions that you were somewhere else having a good time with someone else who supposably was better looking than them and could drink more than them without it effecting them and talk more dignified than them and would actually go home with you at close of play instead of them.............
