I think we shot it down in 84.......please correct me anyone if I am wrong.

Brisbane must have had good operators if a Jindy was shot down twice.

Were any of the other DDG's as successful as Brisbane?

Or any other ship of the fleet lucky enough to shoot shit out of the sky?

Hobart in '78 on the PMRF off Hawaii, Bluey.

Three successive shoots.

One was a missile fired directly at us, the deadweighted SM1 impacted the missile.

Pilotless drone was launched at us as an incoming aircraft, also impacted. Much ado about that, as it was supposed to return to home for re-use.

Radio-controlled 60 foot high speed boat was acquired doing an attack, and the SM1 impacted the water so close that it perforated the boat with shrapnel. Also not appreciated by the range personnel. Was a nice bright red one, too......

At that point, Canberra stopped our trials of the system as the bill was getting a bit too high.

So we spent a bit more time in Pearl!!

THe Swan in '70, (I think), Exercise Swan Lake off WA.
Poms brought down a seagoing tug with a drone launcher. Our Seacat aimer was "Lucky" Logan.
First drone ditched early and was lost.
Second one played up and didn't fly far. Recovered.
Third and last bird. Pommy "pilot" very touchy about anyone getting too close to his precious bird. It was sent against a couple of ships and made many attack passes. No shots/missiles went close.
Pommy pilot quite chuffed with himself.
By the way, the radio comms were being broadcast through the bridge and ops room so quite a few people were getting a bit pissed off with this smart arse Pom.
Swan's turn, bird lines up for the first run, Lucky locks on and lets fly with a Seacat (dummy warhead) and literally knocked it out of the air. Lots of very bad language from the tug with unkind words for the Swan.
Lucky had a good strike rate against the little drones, but I don't know if he hit any Jindies. Not bad for a manually guided bird.
