Sounds like a great plan!

0830...??? Are you serious...? Whilst the first pub on the run, The Fortune of War opens at 0900, the next one, The Observer, doesn't open until 1100 on a Saturday, so unless you're planning on delighting us all will tales tall and true of your trek to Kilimanjaro for an hour after breakfast, I'd suggest perhaps a 0930 rendezvous for breakfast, then head off to The Rocks at around 1030... I was also hoping that this year, The Palisade may have something to offer by now in the way of lunch with a view, but a trawl through their website left me a tad underwhelmed at what was on offer and at what price, so I suggest that The Lord Nelson is still the go in that regard... However, before I make bookings at any of the venues, I'd like to see some more discussion and a consensus on the venues and timing to avoid recriminations later...

Quote: Even closer... City Extra - Circular Quay Opens 7:00AM Saturdays for Breakfast... Right at the hub for Trains, Ferries, Buses and Taxis... Now you're talking. Forgot about this one. Been there a couple of times for a hamburger. Good food, good service, licenced, close to transport. Good place to start. Book me in Danno! ( only a slight variation) (Hey! my font size, etc, works again!)

The preceding posts represent 10 of the 15 participants (so far) currently listed on the Attendees Board, that's 66.6% in the affirmative, so I'll take it as 'carried' and make the appropriate bookings for (say) 20 people in both venues, 0930 at City Extra and 1300 at The Lord Nelson...
